JMC 3433 Company Communication Strategy

WARNING: The blog post you are about to read may have short, choppy sentence. Heck, some sentences might not actually even be sentences. Proceed with caution.

Ok, that was a little scary, but its not wrong. This blog post is all about idea, and my writing will probably reflect that.

For Boeing’s communication strategy, the first idea that comes to mind is technology. Boeing is a company that has to have cutting edge design. Customers expect to get from point a to point b, fast, efficient and safe. They have no desire to hop on a bi-plane and cross the Atlantic. Airlines need their planes to be these three things, but also cost effective. More seats means more tickets means more money. At the same time, Boeing is one of the oldest airplane manufactures in the world, so their company marketing plan should also reflect experience, especially since 2016 is the centennial. Obviously the visuals will be of planes. I’ve always thought that blueprints are pretty cool, so I think it would be cool to have them incorporated somehow into the business card. Maybe as a base layer or on the back side. I think it might be too much to do as a base layer though. Boeing’s colors are blue and grey so I don’t really want to deviate from those. The logo is always blue, with wording alternating between the two colors.
